Universurile lor sunt create exclusiv în exterior: în jurul muncii, în jurul prietenilor, în jurul colectivităților, în jurul ”familiei”. Puțini își construiesc viața în jurul lor. Mai puțini își orânduiesc viitorul în jurul interiorului lor.
Puțini înțeleg că viața le-a fost dată cadou lor, nu celor din jur sau muncii. Tocmai de aceea foarte puțini sunt liniștiți, mulțumiți, fericiți pe termen lung. Mult mai puțini zâmbesc zilnic și o cvasiminoritate se mulțumește cu mai puțin.
