Iertatul tata avea o vorbă, învățată de la naşu-bătrânu, naşul lui de cununie, surd şi el ca şi mine, Dumnezeu să-i ierte pe amândoi, care tradusă sună cam aşa:
”Banii, puțini-mulți, să fie cu noroc, să te bucuri de ei. Doar la doctori să nu-i (fii nevoit să-i) dai.”
